Kim moved to Corvallis because the location appealed to her. She studied wildlife biology at SUNY ESF and Syracuse University. Shortly thereafter, she made use of her degree in San Francisco, St. Louis, and Brooklyn. After having worked in several animal hospitals and rescue shelters, Animal Crackers was a natural fit for her and she joined the team in October 2010. She shares her home with 7 kitties (Flower, Paulie, Peter, Moose, Caesar, Muffin Man, and Cleo). In her free time, Kim enjoys live music, contra dancing, yoga, and practicing Shamanism. Kim is extremely grateful for the friends she has found within our community and welcomes everyone. She relishes in meeting new fur friends and their families, while finding ways to meet their needs.
Tina started in September 2005 and quickly became the go-to person for all cat related questions. Before working at Animal Crackers, she was a veterinary technician in Corvallis for 8 years, did raptor rehabilitation, worked at a boarding kennel, and helped out on a goat dairy farm. Her unwavering passion for animals makes her the perfect person to handle all of the cat adoptions for the store. She currently shares her home with a sweet Basset Hound named Buttercup, a red-lored parrot named Billy Bob Amazon, and 14 sweet kitties (Apollo James, Mizuna, Eddie, Monty, Simon, Louie, Katie, Sabbie, Tulip O’Shea, Violet, Lilly McFadden, Tika, Chloe Louise, and Sable)! When she isn’t working, she can be found in a greenhouse surrounded by succulents.

Her fur-family includes a pup named Buddah, 2 cats (Gypsy and Mithril), and 2 hens (Ebony & Frieda).
Shannon began her career at Animal Crackers in April 2008. Shannon can proudly say that all of her babies are rescues, both human and furry! She shares her home with her dogs (Miss Bailey Mae and Ferg), 4 cats (Barley, Sashimi, Ginger, and Bumble Bee), and 2 kids (RJ and Sean). If she didn’t work at Animal Crackers, she would most definitely be a MythBuster!
Kaiya joined the Animal Crackers team in May 2017. She is currently pursuing a Zoology degree, when she isn’t in the water, scuba diving. If you want to talk about fish keeping, this is your lady! Nicole started working at Animal Crackers in November 2016. Her love for animals started during her childhood. She grew up with cats, hamsters, dogs, fish, lizards, goats, geese, and more! Nicole currently has 3 amazing dogs; 2 American Pit Bull Terriers (Bugsy and Strider) and 1 beautiful mutt (Kuna). Her favorite part of having her sweet boys, is how they have changed the way her neighbors, friends, and family viewed bully breeds. Nicole is a huge advocate for American Pit Bull Terriers and it shows in the way she raises loving, well socialized dogs.
